Car Workshop

On this chilly evening it was a bunch of fun to shoot some cars for a change. I would much rather be shooting cars on location then in the studio, even though both present different problems I find getting out of "the office" more fun. Lighting before then sun fully went down was tough, the harsh reflections from the direct sun were hard to deal with. After the sun went down the skys soft box effect was beautiful. Jeremy Beasley got some great shots with the long lens. We used a remote flash in the glove box with a light warming gel to pop the inside of the car a bit more and give the body more shape. The last 2 shots were about 8-12 second exposures which gave me enough time to remotely flash it from the left and right. I really wished I had shot more detail shots (only shot one), I think we were a bit fixated on the full body. Will have to remember for next time.
